Experience:
For the last 4 months I have cared for a 1-year-old girl, for the morning to late afternoon, which means I was responsible for clothing her, preparing meals and snacks and caring for her hygiene as well as playtime activities and outings to places such as parks, libraries, art classes and the aquarium.
In the past I have tended to a child, aged 5, whom I was responsible for picking up from a daycare program and supervising for afternoons. This included feeding him and entertaining him through games, reading, creative outlets and exercise. I also cared for a female youth who was mentally and physically disabled due to cerebral palsy and was taught to administer her medication and food through a tube and move her safely from her wheelchair to a bed or couch.
